Consumer Reports have rated these 10 vehicles as the trendiest cars of 2017 leading into 2018! What makes them so great and why should you care?

Quoted as a “refined alternative in a segment filled with insubstantial models”. This sporty compact vehicle has been praised for its gutsy four-cylinder engine as well its smooth and refined automatic transmission.
The Chevrolet Cruze has taken the world by surprise and beaten out the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. The Cruze is being praised for a quiet cabin, smooth ride, and a powerful yet frugal turbocharged engine.
The Toyota Prius is well known for it’s amazing gas mileage, but Toyota continues to pull out the stops making every model even more efficient than the last. That’s not the only thing improving on this beloved model. That’s big praise for such a tiny vehicle! For years the Miata has been toted as one of the finest driving machines in the world. They are best known for their driving dynamics, world-class manual transmission, and frugal fuel economy. Did we mention they’re fun to drive?
The Kia Optima has dethroned the ever popular Honda Accord and Toyota Camry this past year. According to Consumer Reports, the Optima’s victory is more than deserved.

As someone who has personally driven a few Optima’s, I can say that this car surprised the heck out of me. Kia is packing these sedans full of convenient and luxury features!

Some of the Impala’s best features are its supportive seats, roomy cabin, refined ride, and responsive handling.
